Today we shall discuss a very common situation in life that happens to almost everyone and that is what happens when things do not turn out the way you want it to be.
From a child to an adult, we face the events that unfold in our life. As a child when we don’t get what we want, what do we do – we cry and that sometimes helps as parent would usually give in to stop the crying.
As we grow into an adult the challenges, we face is even greater. Each stage in life from a baby to a child, a teenager, a young adult, a family man , a retiree and finally death.
Unhappiness comes when you do not get want you want. We desire lots of things at each stage of life. And happiness comes when we get the thing we desire for. But it’s only short live as you desire more things and get bored with what you have.
So, the root cause of unhappiness is due to desire. Can we live a life without desiring something? You see we all make plans in life to have a goal of some kind to work towards and when we achieve it, we are elated as having accomplished something but if it falls short of our goal, we become frustrated and angry.
Plan your life and if it does not bear fruits, accept the outcome and just be thankful for He’s the one who gives. Sometimes what He gives works out better than what you have planned. Put your faith in the Divine to work out your plan, learn to be in tune with the outcome He gives, even if it’s not what you want, just say thank you and move on.
Over time you will realise that what He gives is best for you, only time will reveal it to you. You need to work on Faith in the Divine, be attune to His hand at work. If you are able to live life with this mindset you will be a much happier person and be able to overcome obstacles in your lifelong journey.
Every turn you take is an opportunity good or bad because nothing that happens in your life is bad it’s just a happening and soon it will pass. He is the Giver and you the receiver in every situation. Since the Giver lives in you as your soul, how can He be giving anything bad to Himself.
On days when you have doubt in God, it is a good sign as that is when you hang on to faith even greater. Without doubt there cannot be faith, and faith cannot be something taken for granted that everyone has on this journey that is absolute and total.
Even Christ at one moment on the cross doubted and asked, “Father why has thou forsaken me”. But he immediately switched back to his total surrender and said “Into thy hands I commit myself “
Christ said in the bible faith is like a mustard seed, when planted it shall grow to be as strong as an oak. So, let’s start planting the seed of faith in the Divine and benefit from the fruits it will bear.

The dwelling place of the Divine in you is in your heart (not your physical but spiritual heart, your chakra) so forever fill your heart with love and experience the Divinity in you.
