This can happen to you if you are not aware of how to identify and address this issue.

Let’s look at anger – it is a state in which you have lost control of your senses and the outburst can be about anyone or anything. In this stage if it is not managed well it can lead to rage which can be very ugly and which you will regret it later.

The outburst of anger is like boiling water in a kettle. The water which is cold is turned to heat and then to steam. At the point of water boiling it is anger and rage is when it turns to steam. The material that causes this to happen is fire or heat. That depends on how you are boiling your water in the kettle. Whatever method it is a medium not connected to the kettle or water. Remove the heat and the boiling water subsides and remain hot.

In life the kettle is your physical body the water is your internal energy, heat or fire is the energy that is latent in you that reaches breakpoint and allow the eruption called anger to surface.

Usually when anger surfaces it is not at that particular person or object. It so happens that the person or object or situation is there that causes the eruption.

The fire which is latent energy in you is the excess baggage that you carry over the years of hurt feeling, broken relationships, unachieved expectations in life. To sum up you are not happy with yourself. Again where does the unhappiness lie? In your head? No in your mind and not anywhere else.

How then can we address this later energy that can surface anytime without our control? Firstly remove all excess baggage that you carry –you may say it is difficult, yes I agree but that itself is causing the block when you say it is difficult. We all have some kind of excess baggage that we carry, it depends on how heavy or light. Heavy baggage means you have not allowed one hurt feeling to go away and you harbour another one. Like what was said in the previous posting it is like the thick mud that you keep on adding to yourself.

First start removing the baggage one by one through the practices that has been given in the various postings on this website. Then you achieve a state of mind which is in harmony with your Inner Self. In this state you are at peace and will be able to deflect any negative energy that is thrown at you by anyone.

Next time when someone irritates you or criticizes you or say something that upsets you, try this. Imagine a trash can beside you, then channel everything that is being said into the trash can. Then imagine pouring the content into a pit of fire and allow it to burn to ashes- see the ashes in your mind and be at peace with yourself.

Work on it daily until you reach a state where you are able to deflect the negative energy and move away from the situation not being affect by the exchange. Doing this is like removing the fire from the kettle of water to prevent it from boiling.

You see so long as you accept what is being said it stays with you. Learn to have this shield of love where you say “I only have love, kindness, understanding for all”. Make it your mantra in life and experience the joy of positive living where nothing can upset or affect your state of mind. We call it BLISS.

Of all the negative anyone can have it is the outburst of anger that concerns everyone.
