Today we shall talk about the topic on luck. Some people say there is such a thing as good luck and bad luck. I am saying today to you that there is no such thing as luck. Everything that happens in your life is the result of the choices you have made. There is no such thing as good luck or bad luck. If it is good luck, it is because you are earning the fruits of your good karma. If it is bad luck, it is payback time for your bad karma. For some people, when they have bad luck, they go to a fortune teller, they go to this parrot that picks a card for you and the teller reads your luck. This person will go for anything and everything that is external because man must see something external to believe it. Some people go and buy crystals and put them in their house. It might work for a few days because they believe it will. The mind believes that the crystals will work and it works for a while but it is short lived. Why? It is because internally that person has not changed. What is most important is yourself. The change has to be within you.<\/p>\n
Our prayer of attunement gives you the key to this answer. \u201cYou are the architect and creator of the world in which you live, by lifting yourself from where you are to where you wish to be, by releasing all feeling of fear,<\/em> resentment and hate\u201d.<\/em> Start with yourself. It is you who are the magnet in which you create the positive or the negative. If you are a negative magnet, you will attract all negatives, then you say all the bad luck is attracted to you. If you attract all the good things to you, it is because you are positive in all the things that you do. Then all the good things come to you and you say this is good luck, a series of good luck. So there is no such thing as bad luck or good luck. It is cause and effect. The whole life is a series of cause and effect. You do something, you get something. You do good, you get good. You do bad and you get bad and this is how it works. That is the Cosmic Law. So, if you have a series of so called bad luck, then you have to address and contemplate to find where you have gone wrong. Change it, you can change it by changing your thinking.<\/p>\n Spirituality is everything that you do not see. You cannot see your mind, you cannot see your thinking, you cannot see the negatives in you, you cannot see the emotions in you. You cannot see love, jealousy, envy and selfishness. You can see crystals, you can see the fortune teller\u2019s parrot, you can see the tarot cards, yes, these are physical things. Man needs these physical things because they think it is good for them but these are short lived. If you want permanency, look within yourself. Work on this within yourself. Our spiritual reminders tell us, \u201cbe positive towards yourself, others, circumstances and situations\u201d. How many of us do that every day? Not many. The tools have been given, the sign post has been given, many years ago. It is in our spiritual reminders, it is in our prayers, it is in our prayer book and in the prayer of attunement and in the songs and all the scriptures in all the holy books known to man.<\/p>\n As human beings we become lazy, we want quick fixes. If there is a problem we go for a quick fix. The quick fix is the fortune tellers, the tarot cards, the crystals, these are quick fixes. It works for a while, temporary, but in life we want permanency. We want something that last and what lasts is something that you do not see. Your soul is permanent; your body is not permanent. Your mind in this lifetime allows you to create for yourself to become this positive magnet. If you generate positive thought you attract positive things. If you are always negative in your thinking, then you attract negative things towards you. That is how it works. So, don\u2019t say good luck or bad luck, there is no such thing as bad luck or good luck. It is all your own making. Those who are in this series of bad luck, change it. It can be changed.<\/p>\n Now, bad karma can be changed to good karma by doing good deeds. Service to others, helping others, these are good things, positive things. When you do positive things it minus some of your bad deeds. It works this way. So as long as you don\u2019t add more bad karma to your life, you do more good, then the negatives will reduce and the positives will increase and you will have less of the so call bad luck. If you want to have change, change your thinking. Your thinking changes you. It is an internal transformation that we are looking for not the external transformation. With internal transformation comes external transformation. If you change internally, externally there will be changes. So work within and if you need tools to work within discuss with others who know of such things. Apply the tools and you will see the results and know that it works. You can go and run to the tarot card reader, the crystals and the fortune tellers but let me tell you this, it is only temporary. It may work for one or two days depends on your belief. If you don\u2019t believe, the crystals will also not work for you because you are so negative. You can put ten thousand crystals in your house, after a while it won\u2019t work because when you generate the negative energy even the crystals become negative because it has absorbed the negative energy you generate. Then you throw all the crystals away and buy new crystals. When do you think this will end?<\/p>\n So start with yourself.
